Admission Notice

• Final merit list has been displayed on 16.06.10 at 2.00 p.m.

• Candidates from Other University should submit their B.Sc. Marksheet by 24.06.10 and their admission will be on 25.06.10

The students who have given entrance examination for the admission to M. Sc. (Biotechnology) should report to the Department of Biotechnology, Modern College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Ganeshkhind, Pune- 411 053 for counseling and on the spot admission as per the following schedule:

• Venue for counseling:

          Modern College of Arts, Science and Commerce,
          Ganeshkhind, Pune- 411 053 

• Candidates should note that this is only a call for counseling, and it does not indicate any confirmation of admission. The admissions will be offered in order of merit in each category.

• Candidates should deposit Rs.1000 in cash (Non-refundable) and remaining fees is to be deposited in the respective college by 22.06.10

• Counseling is for admission to:

Modern College, Ganeshkhind, Pune-411053 and
Modern College, Shivajinagar, Pune – 411 005

• Candidate should also note that they will not have any claim on admission after the prescribed Date & Time.

• Candidates should bring along with them following necessary documents:
• B. Sc. Original mark sheet + One photocopy of Mark Sheet
• Transfer Certificate (original) + One photocopy of Transfer Certificate
• Caste Certificate (if applicable)
• Gap Certificate (if applicable)
• Migration Certificate (if applicable)

Date of commencement of course: 1st July 2010.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

If two or more candidates have scored equal number of marks in the entrance examination, the marks scored by the students at undergraduate level has been considered for finalizing the admission.
As soon as the required admissions are completed, the admission process will be stopped and further sessions of counseling will be cancelled.
