About The Event

The two days National Seminar on “IPR & Research Ethics” is focused on
different aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs), Hands on training
on patent searching and filling, how institutes and researchers can convert
their research/project works into Patents. This Seminar will bring a positive transformation in the Faculty members and researchers to publish quality publications and convert their work in patent. Institutions will get benefit to improve their rankings and research quality.

Dr. Ramesh C. Gaur

Dean & Director (Lib & Inf.),Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts (IGNCA), New Delhi.

Dr. Ramesh C. Gaur is presently Director (Library & Information) & Head-Kalanidhi Division at Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), New Delhi, Ministry of Culture, Government of India. IGNCA www.ignca.gov.in. During the period October 2011-January 2018 he was the University Librarian (Senior Professor Grade), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi (www.jnu.ac.in ), India. At IGNCA Dr. Gaur has also headed Kala Kosha Division of IGNCA during October 2009 to December 2010, and National Mission for Manuscripts (NMM), IGNCA as its Director from April 2009 to September 2009.

Dr. A. A. Natu

Senior Scientist, National Chemical Laboratory (NCL), Pune.

Senior scientist for last 40 years in National chemical laboratory (NCL) and Indian institute for science education in India (IISER) in organic and bio-organic chemistry. Research areas are organic chemistry, combinatorial chemistry, bio-organic chemistry, biology in drug discovery.

Dr. Ganesh Hingmire

Renowned IPR Enthusiast, Mumbai

Dr. Ganesh Hingmire is a renowned Intellectual Property (IP) Enthusiast and a winner of two Consecutive National Intellectual Property Awards in 2015 & 2016 given by Ministry of Commerce, Gov. of India.

Mr. Vijay Tase

CEO, PeerTech Consulting Firm, Mumbai.

Vijay is an engineer by training and was educated in India and the USA. He has over 30 years of experience of working in US and UK and India. His consulting firm, PeerTech Consulting, has made a name for itself in specialist services related to IPR matters, including filing, defending, and opposing patent applications, specialist IP training, with a focus on patents. He has obtained dozens of international patents for his clients. He is also co-founder of the Indian arm of Packt Publishing Private Limited, an IT publishing company.

Prof. Rajendra Kumbhar

Professor, Department of Library and Information Science Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune.

Prof. Rajendra Kumbhar does teach Research Methods in Librarianship, Information Consolidation and Repackaging, and Library Management.

CA Sujata Bogawat specialises in advising VC funded startups and incubators across the country. As a partner at Baheti & Somani LLP, CA Sujata manages the startup consulting function and advises startups in the space of healthcare devices, med-tech, IoT, and Fintech. She has strong eco-system connects with start-up incubators and institutions such as NCLVenture Center, Villgro Foundation, CIBA, Translation Research Foundation (JNCASR Bangalore), RISE (IISER-Kolkata), and serves on various committees of these incubators.

Adv. Kshitija Onkar Kulkarni

Practicing Lawyer, Registered Patent Agent, Pune.

Kshitija completed LLB from Y C Law College (Pune University), Pune. She is registered Patent Agent with IPO (Registration No: IN/PA/2012). She had done Advanced International Certification Course on IP Panoroma organized by WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) and KIPO (Korean Intellectual Property Organization). Post-Graduation Diploma in Patent Law from NALSAR University, Hyderabad. General Course on Intellectual Property DL-101, World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

* On-spot registration will be done on 27 February 2020, between 8:30 am to 10:00 am at venue (Modern College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Ganeshkhind, Pune 411016.).
* Accommodation during the conference will be provided on pre-information & request.
* Accommodation charges would be borne by the participant himself/herself.
* Registration Fees do not include TA / DA for the participants.
