• The merit list of the candidates (Open and Reservation) for admission to M. Sc. (Biotechnology) is displayed on the notice board on the basis of performance in the Entrance Examination.


• The admission to M. Sc. (Biotechnology) Part I will be given on the basis of merit and rules of reservation.
• Attested photocopy of B.Sc. mark list should be submitted on or before 17.06.09 before 12.00 noon.

The students who have given entrance examination for the admission to M. Sc. (Biotechnology) should report to the Department of Biotechnology, Modern College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Ganeshkhind, Pune- 411 053 for finalizing their admissions as per the following schedule:

• Candidates should note that this is only a call for counseling, and it does not indicate any confirmation of admission. The admissions will be offered in order of merit in each category.

• Candidates should deposit Rs.1000 in cash (Non-refundable) and remaining fees is to be deposited in the respective college by 22.06.09 (Approximately Rs. 50000)

• Counseling is for admission to:

  Modern College, Shivajinagar, Pune � 411 005
  

• Candidate should also note that they will not have any claim on admission after the prescribed Date & Time.

• Candidates should bring along with them following necessary documents:
  • B. Sc. Original mark sheet + One photocopy of Mark Sheet
  • Transfer Certificate (original) + One photocopy of Transfer Certificate
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  • Gap Certificate (if applicable)
  • Migration Certificate (if applicable)

Remaining fees are to be deposited strictly IN CASH before 22.06.09 (before 2:00 pm). If student fails to pay the said fees on or before 22.06.09, his/her admission will stand cancelled.

Date of commencement of course: 1st July 2009.

IMPORTANT NOTE:-

If two or more candidates have scored equal number of marks in the entrance examination, the marks scored by the students at undergraduate level will be considered for finalizing the admission.
As soon as the required admissions are completed, the admission process will be stopped and further sessions of counseling will be cancelled.
